Au, Sherry Yee - Born in Canton, China on September 20, 1948, raised, educated, and fulfilled her life in the San Francisco Bay Area since age seven. On November 23, 2004, Sherry Au passed away peacefully joining Chris Au, her late husband. She is survived by her children Steven, Nancy, Becky, and Lauren, and significant other, David Cheng.

The second child of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gee, Sherry immigrated to San Francisco with her family in 1955. She first resided in Chinatown and later, Daly City. As a child, Sherry worked at her family grocery store and as a shrimp sheller in Fisherman’s Wharf. She graduated from Galileo High School with honors. She and Chris married in 1968, and later moved with their children to San Rafael in 1993. She used her incredible sense of design and foresight to build many beautiful homes with Chris. Her impressive organizational skills were evident in her career, most recently as a real estate Office Manager, and also in caring for her large family. She was a selfless and patient mother who is loved and cherished by all who knew her.
